Abstract :
In this work a novel MMIC reflection amplifier is presented which is capable of more than 10 dB return gain and operates at K band. The amplifier occupies an area of only 1.5 mm times 2 mm and has been fabricated using OMMIC D01PH process technology. The fabricated die has been successfully connected to a 50 Omega K band horn antenna as well as to a compact patch antenna. Return gain above 14 dB and above 7.5 dB has been measured when a transmitted signal is incident upon the horn and patch systems respectively
