Abstract :
In this paper the wetlands were classified into three kinds. The trafficability of four kinds of crawler vehicles J-50, A531, BFC804, NA-140 and a kind of double-wheel vehicle HS-8 passing the kinds of wetland were researched. The calculating formulas of the driving force and the motion resistance of vehicle were given and the tractive coefficient was used as an evaluation index of trafficability. The result shows that BFC804 and NA-140 can pass through the deep wetland, A531 the medium one, J-50 and HS-8 only the shallow one. The user should select the type of vehicle properly according to the geographical feature.
