Abstract :
A three-phase six-switch pulse width modulation (PWM) rectifier based on one cycle control is researched. The control laws of three-phase six-switch PWM rectifier are deduced. A new PFC controller based on one cycle control technology is designed. Its control logic is very simple and the multipliers and input voltage sensors are not needed. Its control logic is very simple and reliable. The control circuit can be implemented by the general integrate circuit and electronic devices. The proposed controller can reject input voltage perturbation and sustain the sinusoidal profile of the input average current following the input voltage, even on the condition of the load current perturbed. A 7 kW three-phase high power factor rectifier with one cycle control is designed and implemented. Simulation results prove that the rectifier´s power factor can reach 0.998, it achieves low current distortion and unity power factor correction.
