Abstract :
In human-vehicle-road-environment system, road surface condition is one of the main factors affecting vehicles riding comfort. With the wide application of ergonomics, pavement performance evaluation from human factor has been a new research trend in recent years. In this study, by the aid of instruments such as driving simulation module and electrodermal tester, a simulation study about asphalt pavement surface condition had been done at the aim of finding the correlation between psychology-physiology indicators and asphalt pavement surface condition. In this paper, time series theory was used to analyze EDA data and the results showed that passenger´s EDA data had no clear correlation with asphalt pavement surface condition, but it had a good correlation with speed. This discovery will open a new way to the research of road speed limit.
