The science, engineering and technology play an important role in the quality of human beings. The science should enriches lives and expands imagination, therefore the Application of Science and Technology for Rural Areas is very important. The modern miracle and revolution are mainly due to the development various technologies in the recent past. The progress of any country is based on the infrastructure and communication. The communication has improved manifold in the last one decade. The mobile communication and computation is the order of the day. In the present talk, it is proposed to cover the developments that took place in mobile communication and computation. It is also contemplated to bring out the recent developments in the areas of Embedded systems, Cloud computing, Biomedical engineering and Bioinformatics.
