Abstract :
A 31~36GHz image rejection mixer is designed in this paper. This mixer employs a branch line coupler for RF quadrature signal generation and a new compact in-phase power divider for LO signal pump, as well as two single-balanced mixers with four GaAs Schottky barrier diodes. According to the simulation results, Image Rejection Ratio is more than 22dB and conversion loss is less than 6.5dB in the frequency range of 31GHz to 36GHz. The isolation between RF and LO port, which is better than 16dB, can be achieved by the proposed configuration.
