Abstract :
Summary form only given. By assuming that field emission electrons from an individual carbon nanotube are coherent, field electron emission patterns from one individual carbon nanotube were simulated by using classical electron coherent interference theory. The simulation results were consistent with our experimental observations. These results are useful for the understanding of the electronic structure of the carbon nanotube.
