Abstract
An optical orthogonal code (OOC) is defined as collection of binary sequences with good auto and cross-correlation properties. Unlike bipolar code having correlation sidelobes and cross-correlation function close-to-zero, for OOC´s the best correlation sidelobes and cross-correlation function is one, which means that no distance between the positions of ones in the code are repeated. In this paper, we generate an OOC´s based on combinatorial construction method given in literature and verify with Matlab, the auto and cross-correlation properties of these codes, we also evaluate the performance (BER) of the OOC´s for a typical OCDMA system.
