Abstract
In this paper a novel method for harmonic influence assessment for large power systems is presented. The approach is based on the calculation of the harmonic flow in the power network. In this process the Jacobian matrices for each frequency are computed. These matrices make it possible to investigate the sensitivity of the network with respect to the harmonic order being analyzed. To find a solution the Jacobian matrices are factorized by the singular value decomposition (SVD) procedure. Based on decomposed matrices the node sensitive to each harmonic in the network can be determined
