Abstract
New families of waves, solutions of the homogeneous wave equation akin to Bateman-Hillion relatively undistorted progressive waves and focus wave modes, where constructed on the basis of separation of variables in the wave equation and specific Bateman transformations in the circular cylindrical, elliptic cylindrical, and parabolic cylindrical coordinate systems.
