Abstract
The use of neural networks for control of temperature in a jacketed back reactor, in which exothermic reactions take place, is discussed. Supervised and unsupervised neural networks were used. The performance of combinations of feedforward neural networks are reported. The first results of the unsupervised networks are very positive, but the simulations are not still completed
