Abstract :
The paper present an easy and efficient procedure for the calibration of scanning phased antennas by means of a near field planar scanner. The main steps of the procedure - modeling of the antenna architecture, near-field data transformation and phase error corrections - are described. Measurement results, obtained by the proposed procedure, are also presented. The paper concludes with some discussions about the practical application and accuracy of the algorithm.
