  • Abstract
    University counselor´s competence ambiguity, it is difficult to quantify the characteristics of the use of literature search, interviews with key actors in the incident, a questionnaire survey methods such as multivariate statistical analysis, university counselor´s competency model for the study, students come to managed to the characteristics of qualified teachers, including: cognitive ability, intercourse and interaction ability,and professional quality, and set up a new model for university counselor´s competence evaluation based on information entropy and unascertained measure. At last, a case study is provided to verify the model. The research findings offer a workable approach in evaluating university counselor´s competence. It can serve as a basis in the selection, assessment and cultivation of university counselors in China.
