Abstract
Recovered energy logic (REL) is a system approach to the reduction of dissipation in logic circuits. It embodies a new logic circuit topology and a power supply/clocking circuit. The logic topology of REL is described, and simulation results from a MOS implementation are given. The detailed design of a power supply that could be used to drive a REL circuit at up to 100 MHz is described
