Abstract :
In this paper, a certain linear optimal programming to reach a minimum total investment of system with the constraints of carbon sink, ecological environment benefits, social economy benefits and so on have been developed and used in a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) afforestation program in Inner Mongolia. The optimization results of our model propose a more efficient afforestation scheme than the recommended scheme (decrease 15.53% in total investment, as much as 36,789,700 CNY, than the original plan). It is also promote a full use of the afforestation potential for mitigating greenhouse effect to provide an excellent decision support at a greater extent.
