Abstract :
Traditional moment method (MM) schemes are highly demanding in terms of computer memory and execution time required to solve practical problems. Therefore, hybrid approaches combining MM with various approximate techniques have recently received increased attention. This paper proposes an extremely efficient numerical modelling approach based on the well known moment method-physical optics (MM-PO) hybrid formulation combined with the impedance matrix interpolation and adaptive frequency sampling for wide-band analysis of highly resonant transmission line on-platform antennas. Sample numerical results are given for transmission line loop antennas.
