Abstract
The paper presents the progress of investigations on small lightweight low gain antennas (LGA) for use onboard minisatellites and microsatellites. The LGA primary task is to ensure low rate data exchange in downlink and uplink communication channels with possible omnidirectional coverage, irrespective of the orientation of the spacecraft.
