Abstract :
A general method of generating constant switching frequency topologies by adding one switch to the variable switching frequency converter is presented. With the help of the state-plane trajectory of the converter, the position of the additional switch is easily determined. To demonstrate such an approach, examples of generating a family of constant frequency soft-switching topologies from the same converter is presented. Relationships among the generated topologies are discussed
