Analysis of earthworm application in solid waste disposal in cold regions

The status analysis of earthworm application and its research in the disposal of city solid waste and agricultural waste is presented in this paper, and then the procedure and factors of earthworm biotechnology in solid waste disposal is analyzed, after that multiple uses of vermicompost, the by-product in the process of disposal are summarized. This analysis shows that excellent and domesticated earthworms can be strongly adaptable in northern cold regions so that earthworm biotechnology will be definitely used in the solid waste disposal in cold regions.
