Abstract :
This paper presents a multi-blackboard approach to design and implement a control/monitoring system for the automation of production systems. The proposed architecture is composed of several control/monitoring agents (CMAs) organised hierarchically. Communication between agents is done through a corresponding hierarchy of blackboards, in which the consistency of replicated data is maintained.
