Abstract
Based on the Shenzhen´s minimum wages adjustment formula, the multiple regression method was used to screen variables for determining the affecting degree of the variables. After the weight coefficients of the variables were calculated, a modified formula which is more appropriate for Shanghai was presented. The final result shows that average wage growth rate is the major affecting factor of minimum wages adjustment mechanism.
