Abstract
A feedforward-feedback control technique for PWM (pulse width modulated) DC-DC converters is proposed. A linear state feedback is designed via a linear quadratic approach by means of a small-signal linearized model of the converter. The nonlinear feedforward compensation is designed so as to compensate for the output voltage error in the presence of either small or high input voltage disturbances. Several simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed controller
