Abstract
An alternative structure for 4-channel paraunitary filter banks is derived. Integer-to-integer mapping is obtained using lifting schemes for quaternionic multipliers. The lifting decompositions are optimized to have coefficients of fractional magnitude. Numerical properties of the developed ladder structure are evaluated empirically to relate it to the known quaternionic lattice
