Abstract :
In our work, we have developed an analytical amenable model to investigate pulse propagation in hollow core photonic crystal fibers (HC-PCFs) filled by an ionizing gas in terms of the complex envelope of the pulse. The approach has been applied to study ultrashort and long pulses. The results of our model have been verified and reproduced by using another full numerical model.
