Abstract :
The micro/mesoporous composite Ti/13X/MCM-41 was prepared under hydrothermal conditions. X-ray power diffraction pattern, nitrogen adsorption data and Fourier-transform infrared confirmed the presence of mesoporous MCM-41 and microporous 13X in the composite and the well-dispersed TiO2 over the 13X/MCM-41 surface. Scanning electron microscope studies revealed that the micro/mesoporous composite was loose and porous. The synthesis parameters such as molar ratio Si/Al, Ti/Si, pH in gel and calcining temperature were investigated. The catalytic activity of the composite was tested by the photodegradation of phenol. And the removal efficiency can be >; 95%.
