  • Abstract
The emergency incidents in urban subway system were analyzed. The main incident of emergency incidents was gained, then the reason of main emergency incident was analyzed. The different smoke control and evacuation modes were discussed, then the best smoke control and evacuation mode were obtained. Smoke spread at platform was simulated by FDS+EVAC. The relation of soot density, extinction coefficient and evacuation speed have liner relationship. The main influence factors of evacuation time were analyzed. The simulation results indicate that the existence of automatic fare gates of metro reduces the efficiency of evacuation. The evacuation time of no automatic fare gate is longer than evacuation time of automatic fare gate around 40%.
