Abstract :
The dynamics of virtual cathode formation under electron beam slowing in tunnel is researched. Calculations were carried out as for monovelocity nonmodulate in density electron beam as for beam with velocity and density modulation. The differences in form and density of elector pitch in virtual cathode area for both considered beams are shown.
