Abstract :
By focusing on the co-design of spectral efficiency and energy efficiency, a new network architecture with both higher capacity and lower power consumption than existing networks is proposed. Through the use of a new network topology, green RF techniques using large scale antenna systems and full duplex radio are proposed as a means to reduce network energy consumption while increasing network capacity for future 5G networks.
