Abstract :
In this paper, the problem of image fragment reassembly has been researched. The multipurpose use of the shape and texture features of fragment is introduced, and a new approach is proposed for a type of specific fragment, polygon image fragment. Since polygon image fragment has a characteristic that it has obvious corners, this approach takes advantage of such characteristic, and detects the corners by Hough transform and fuzzy reasoning. The texture feature is continual between two neighboring fragments, so we can utilize this characteristic to determine matching location or true matching pairing. Experimental results show that the reassembly approach for polygon fragment based on multiple features is effective and fast.
