Abstract
The aerodynamic properties of the Twin Swirl Combustor (TSC) are studied and discussed in different locations of air inlet and different flow ratio by numerical simulation. The calculation results reveal that the location of air inlet plays a more important role in the aerodynamic properties, compared with the flow rate, and in C3 (R1=0.055m), the recirculation zone and the swirling flow field can meet the demand of Twin Swirl pulverized coal Combustor and should be the most reasonable layout of the discussing model.
