Abstract :
The increasing interest in performing power quality measurement campaign on distribution systems is actually in contrast with the few availability of suitable voltage transducers at affordable costs. In this paper, a transducer for power quality assessment in medium voltage networks is designed and characterized. The device is based on the measurement of the electric field. The presented results show its good accuracy performance and seem to confirm that it can be usefully employed in power systems.
