Abstract :
In the process of Digital Television expansion in Brazil, various studies regarding this subject, considering signal transmission, modulation analysis, signal reception analysis, have been executed. This work aims to outline the limit values for human exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF), considering the UHF frequency band from 406 MHz to 806 MHz. This frequency band is associated to digital television (TVD) broadcasting services and was defined by the Telecommunications National Agency of Brazil (ANATEL) resolution no. 303/2002. Measurements were carried out in Belém city (situated in the Brazilian Amazon Region). A EMF radiation level analysis study is presented in this paper.
