Abstract :
To facilitate the loading and discharging of rolling stocks for train ferries, a new type of flexible double-rail track was recently invented. The geometric relationship of bending parameters of the flexible track is studied theoretically. The formulation and numerical analysis to determine the bending parameters are presented in this paper. The outcomes of the research in progress show that the newly invented flexible track is feasible.
