Abstract :
This paper presents a study concerning vibration propagation through human body, for two cases: an ortostatic position and a flexional movement of a leg in stand-up position. Two parameters are measured: the acceleration transmissibility from the legs to the head and the coherence of this function, for static and different degrees of effort. The modifications of these functions during stress are monitored. The experimental results show little modifications of the transmissibility, difficult to analyze, but significant changes of the coherence. It was concluded that this behavior is due to the modifications in neuro-muscular control during long stress
