Abstract :
In the paper, we present the grip force tracking system aimed for the assessment and training of grip force control. The grip-measuring device developed was used as an input to a tracking task where the subject applied the grip force according to the visual feedback from the computer screen. The evaluation was performed in a group of healthy 10 year-old children and a group of children with down syndrome. The participants performed three different tracking tasks with the aim to obtain more information on their sensory-motor control related to grasping. The performance was evaluated by the analysis of the tracking results
