  • Abstract
    Zigbee node locating is one of the key technologies in wireless sensor network. Through the analysis on the existing single-hop centroid algorithm, a multi-hop weighted centroid locating algorithm has been put forward. The weighted factor is determined by the different impact of beacon node on unknown node so as to improve the locating accuracy. Multi-hop weighted centroid locating algorithm is simple when calculating and communication among the nodes is cost-free when locating. The algorithm is based on the strength of received signal (RSSI). The simulation has showed that it has achieved a better locating accuracy.
