Abstract :
Soft landing on the moon is the main target of the second phase of China Lunar Exploration Project. In order to gain guidance accuracy less than 100 m, the terrain relative navigation methods should be involved. However the terrain map of lunar with enough resolution will not be available within triennium, the modeling of lunar terrain surface with proposed methods will make the test for TRN methods available instantly. The high-resolution DEMs will be generated from low-resolution data based on a square-square subdivision fractal function. And the lunar impact craters will be added to the model according to the latest database and the statistic results of observation.
