Abstract :
Photogrammetric techniques (e.g. stereo vision, profilometry, deflectometry...) are widely used within applications of non-destructive testing, geodesy, prosthetic medicine or biometry. In general, obtained results rely on the exact knowledge of the behavior of the used camera system. Frequently, derivation and/or calibration of exterior and interior camera parameters is an expensive and time-consuming process, capable of achieving high accuracy. Within automated measurement applications, different requirements may arise. The proposed paper introduces anew method to derive camera parameters from a single image of an easy-to-use test pattern.
