Abstract :
Considered in this paper are theoretical and experimental investigations of frequency characteristics of continuous K-range magnetron at different modes of oxide-coated cathode. The new physical result has been obtained concerned with decreasing (more than two orders) of frequency deviation at changing conditions of thermionic cathode operation. The analysis of theoretical results shows that such frequency stabilization has been obtained because fluctuations of overall emission current (thermionic and secondary emission) have been decreased.
