Abstract :
The propagation characteristics of Multimode Interferometers (MMI) based on subwavelength grating waveguides are analyzed by an efficient frequency domain finite element approach. The coupling length of the MMI for several configurations, where their main parameters were varied such as duty cycles polarization and length of the segment, was calculated.
