Abstract :
In this paper, we present our experience in the application of computers in the course project on theoretical foundations of electrical engineering. The project includes some topics connected with lectures, seminars and laboratory practice. Use of the students´ version of ORCAD PSpice and Matlab helps the students to understand more easily principles, laws and methods of electrical engineering theory. The comparison of analytical results with numerical ones obtained by PSpice and Matlab is very important for understanding the subjects. In the paper, we give some typical examples for illustration the content of the project
