Abstract :
The use of system identification methods to determine the parameters of an induction machine is discussed. The problem of parameter estimation of an induction machine is solved using a linear model in the parameters. The identification procedure uses the steady state phase measurement data. The proposed algorithm was evaluated with simulation and experimental data. The performances of the proposed algorithm in the simulation test and in the experiment for a 1.5-kW wound rotor three-phase induction machine are quite satisfactory
