Abstract :
At home and abroad, there are usually two types of solar receivers. One is the tracking-sun type and the other is nontracking type. The economic indicators we use to evaluate the solar receivers are the expense of the structure of the devices, the photovoltaic conversion rate, the expense of the routine operation and maintenance, and the utility of energy and materials. Analyzing the economic indicators above, we find the tracking-sun type is much better than the nontracking type when used in road illumination. Under the guarantee of tracking-sun type receivers´ stable running, we can see that we will get huge profit by using the tracking-sun type receiving equipment in road illumination. Thus the tracking-sun receivers are worth recommending and applying because it is low-carbon and environmentally friendly.
