Abstract :
Coma stimulation program (CSP) is a treatment in which a health care professional or a patient´s family member systematically applies stimulation to patients´ five senses, for the purpose of increasing patient responsiveness. In this study, we developed a CSP system in which the sensory stimulus was generated by a virtual reality (VR) technique to improve the therapeutic process. The article also pays focus on the effectiveness and obstacles of VR based CSP system
