Abstract :
As a final grading tool we ask our students to develop a project using Java. In the last courses we decided to make some industry standard measurements on the code. We found values in line with open source Internet available games, but unrelated to quality object oriented code. Post grading interviews were done to explore the values obtained by the metrics. In the interviews we found some documented misconceptions about object oriented programming present in our students.
