Abstract :
Directly towards the influences of the two parameters granularity and water ratio on energy consumption, a series of molding experiment were carried out to investigate and determine the optimal granularity and water ratio corresponding to the minima energy consumption of typical crops straw. It was found that the optimal granularity is determined by physical characteristic of molding fuel and there is an optimal water ratio at which the energy consumption is minima. By optimizing the equipment, energy consumption can be remarkably reduced.
