Abstract :
It is hard for missile to intercept the target which maneuvers in a smart way. To succeed in intercepting the target, some modern missiles are equipped with side jets. To verify the improvement of the interception performance by side jets, the effect of the side jet is modeled to apply to pursuit-evasion game. And then, it is studied when the side jet should be used in order to obtain the maximum effect with a finite number of side jets, by solving pursuit-evasion game with co-evolutionary method. The enhancement of interception performance is also shown with numerical examples.
