Abstract :
The structure, mechanism, and characteristics of flexible composite functional films are investigated. The 3-0 type flexible composite piezoelectric and ferroelectric thin films composed of polymer-based PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) and ferroelectric ceramic series PZT (lead zirconate titanate), i.e., the PVDF/PZT series, are shown to possess low-C33 mechanical flexibility, high synthesized composite ∈Σ, good piezoelectric d33 and g33, and ferroelectric PΣ and a low Za coupled matching features. The 3-0-type two-phase flexible composite functional structure exhibits an oriented addition of the stiff ferroelectric domain and the flexible heterogeneous deformed dipole moment, i.e., the flexible composite ferroelectric ordered domain effect
