Abstract :
Using injection matching theory as inspiration derived from radio frequency amplifier design, an electrically small antenna is produced. Previously, a one port injection matched antenna was produced and fabricated. In this paper it is demonstrated that by using the injection matching theory, simultaneous matching at both ports can also be achieved, which improves the overall efficiency of the two-port injection matched antenna. Based on this proposed method, a two port electrically small chassis antenna is produced which benefits from a wide bandwidth as well as high efficiency.
