Abstract
A proposed third-order active notch filter was developed for a LC ladder low noise amplifier (LNA) applied for UWB band group1 in standard 0.13 mum CMOS technology. The notch filter eliminated interfering signal at 5.85 GHz and improved third-order input intercept point (IIP3) by 4.7 dB under interferences of 802.11a test. The measured maximum power gain was 15.87 dB at 4488 MHz, minimum NF was 3.19 dB at 3960 MHz that performs FOM of 1.3 (/mW) and measured P1 dB was -16.82 dBm at 4488 MHz.
